So here is the plan. The 4 of you live in the city of New Metalopolis and live in the The East Side. New Metalopolis is a large city that was built on the sides of a large canyon that has a large river in the bottom that connects to the ocean and even has its own floating inland. The 4 of you will start the campaign in a speak easy in which someone will ask the 4 of you guys for help. And from there you guys will go on to deal with the Malcoch mob family in the east side of the city. My current main plan for how this will go is that either before the campaign or once you guys meet you will form some sort of for hire group of mercenaries that other people will come to for help. This group might be another mob or a group like agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. This will it make it easy for me so I have a simple way for you guys to learn about the corrupted parts of the city.
Questions that I feel need answering
So wait there are 4 mob familys and the heroes are only fighting one of them?
Yes the main reason that there are 4 is because I wanted to make sure you guys could not break everything and take over the city by defeating one family.
So we are going to fight hordes of enemies with our own army right?
That is not what I am going for. When I think fighting the mob I think of all the spy shows I love. Nothing would make me happier if I could make a campaign of smoke and mirrors where the 4 of you sneak into places you should not be to steal something or assassinate someone. I am in no means dropping fighting from the campaign but would love it if there was a chase between you guys and the police in airplane like blimps. But we will have to find out if I can pull that off :)
So I found a way to break your campaign I should just be nice and not mess with it right?
NO please try and break it. There is no epic story I am trying to tell or any problem with my plans actually going correct. I am not sure the best way to explain it but my job is to write code that I am almost immediately told is not correct by 3 groups of people. Trust me I want to have to try and fix a problem that I do not see coming or I am going to get bored.
